Health Care for the Vulnerable

CONTRIBUTORS

DESCRIPTION

Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization says: “It is completely unacceptable that half the world still lacks coverage for the most essential health services, and it is unnecessary.” Following universal acknowledgement that better health can lead to stronger economic growth, improving access to healthcare for the most vulnerable members of society through a universal healthcare approach by 2030 has become a UN Sustainable Development Goal. By designing a healthcare system that incorporates efforts from all stakeholders, we can make a difference among the most vulnerable communities, improving their wellbeing and in turn, building prosperity.
