GMIS Connect is the Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit’s international roadshow programme.
Held in some of the world’s leading cities, with a focus on reaching out to key international manufacturing markets and stakeholders such as national governments, the private sector, and civil society leaders, GMIS Connect is the starting point for discussions on trends and challenges within the global manufacturing sector, and transformational ideas. It is a key component in gathering international insight into how the manufacturing sector of the future should be built, gathering data, knowledge, insights and opinion that will feed into, and drive, #GMIS2020.
Designed to strengthen relationships between four constituents in the worldwide GMIS community – manufacturers, governments and NGOs, technologists, and investors – from different parts of the globe, GMIS Connect events create a bank of knowledge and ideas that will form a consensus that leads to genuine, meaningful transformation of the manufacturing sector.
The GMIS Connect roadshows are also forums for identifying innovative, creative ideas and opportunities that have the potential to positively influence global prosperity and address the UN Sustainable Development Goals through design.
